What is the course about?


Drones are slowly becoming part of our daily lives, but only a few people use it for professional measurement purposes.

Throughout the UAV Survey course, the participants get an insight to the basics of mapping and photogrammetry, point cloud management, 3D modeling and the methodology of terrain surveying.

In addition to theory, we have also incorporated practical exercises in the outline of the course, so all participants are actively involved in solving the tasks - all the way from data collection to producing the end result.

Our course is primarily intended for land surveyors, cartographers or architects who want to produce accurate data with the help of drone technology and further process them using other methods. Additionally, we recommend it to non-professionals who would like to use their drones with cameras not only for photography and video-making, but also to conduct other surveys in an innovative way.

The language of the course is English.




Do I need any previous experience or qualifications?


Neither is required, therefore non-professionals are also free to enroll in the course. Of course, an adequate level of computer knowledge is needed, because we will learn to use a variety of software (e.g. Agisoft Photoscan, VisualSFM, CloudCompare, Meshlab).

Please consider that the language of the course is English.

Length and schedule of training


The course is 32 hours in length and is given on 4 consecutive days from 09:00 to 17:00.

Tuition fee

The price of our UAV Survey Workshop is EUR 1.650 + VAT, which is payable following the application, upon singing the contract.

The price includes morning snacks, lunch, coffee and beverages.
